Why this runs in your browser
Almost every other free image tool uploads your file to a server, processes it there and sends it back. Image to PDF does the work with the Canvas and File APIs that are already built into your browser, so the picture never leaves your device. That is faster for large files, it works on a plane, and it means there is no copy of your photo sitting in somebody's S3 bucket waiting to be deleted by a retention policy.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many images I can combine?
No hard limit. Each page embeds a JPEG, so a 50-page document from phone photos typically lands around 5-15 MB. Very large batches use more memory — if your browser struggles, lower the quality slider or split into two documents.
Can I reorder the pages?
Yes. Every thumbnail has left/right arrows, and page order in the finished PDF matches the order shown on screen.
Does "Fit to image" change the quality?
No. It makes each PDF page exactly the size of its image instead of forcing it onto A4, so nothing is scaled or letterboxed. Use it for scans and screenshots; use A4 for anything you intend to print.
Is the PDF searchable?
No — the pages contain pictures, not text, so there is nothing to search. Making it searchable needs OCR, which is a separate step.
